You’ve been waiting (rather patiently I might add) for this and I have finally put all the details together. There are a number of ways to enter the contest so be sure to do as many as you can (it will increase your chances of winning!). Here are the details…
The Prize(s)
Grand Prize: One Regular Session (to take place between June and December 2010) with a 20×24″ fine art canvas and the Archival Image DVD ($1700 value!)
Runner Up: One Digital Mini Session (to take place between June and September 2010) which includes digital images ($525 value!)
How to Enter
Your name will be entered based on the number of points you earn. Each point is worth one entry. And you may earn points by doing any of the following activities:
Worth 1 POINT each:

- Become a friend of Bittersweet Photography on Facebook
- Comment on this blog post
- Sign up to be on our mailing list
Worth 3 POINTS each:
- Blog about this contest and/or about Bittersweet Photography
- Submit a testimonial by clicking here
- Take a funny photograph depicting how much you (and your family if you want!) love Bittersweet Photography. Be aware that I will probably post it on this blog and/or on the Bittersweet Photography facebook page (email the image to me here: info@bittersweet-photography.com)
- Make a donation to the charity of your choice. This is on the honor system. But remember what you do comes back to you, so be honest! 
Worth 10 POINTS each:
- Book a 2010 session for anytime from June 2010 to December 2010 (can be a regular, digital mini, or watch me grow session) before midnight (EST) on April 21st (note that if you end up winning you will be credited the session fee you pay to be used towards additional prints/products).

I get asked all the time when the best time is to book a newborn session, the answer…while you are still pregnant
I photograph most (if not all) newborns between 5-10 days old, at this time mom is starting to feel better and the baby is still young enough to be sleepy and “curled up.” I pencil in the due dates of my clients who are expecting and once the baby is born we finalize our plans and set a time. I typically start booking newborns when mom has reached the 20 week mark, and done their “big” ultrasound, so anytime between 20-36 weeks gestation is usually the best time to book.
So, with that said, if you’ve been thinking of booking a newborn session (and wondering if it’s too soon) now is the time…and as a bonus if you book now you will receive your choice of the following:
25 custom designed birth announcement cards (5×7 flat or 5×5 fold with envelopes)
OR
2 complimentary 5×7″ prints
Now, onto the fun stuff…the babies!
The first three are of Baby C, who was 5 days old at our session…
and these next 5 are of the adorable twins C & A who were 9 days old at our session…

Well, things are finally starting to calm down from the holidays. Time has flown by but I have some exciting news to share with all of you…
