Life isn’t perfect, and I want to capture your life. So just be you, let your kids be themselves and we’ll have a great time! Custom photography is an important part of family life, think of it as investing in your memories. With my sessions I provide every client with beautiful imagery, the highest quality prints and products, as well as a variety of boutique options. Sessions will be fun and casual, playful and carefree. You can never regret an investment of artistic photography, the joy of the memories, and the captures we will create together. I typically book 2-6 weeks in advance (though I understand that newborns can spontaneously decide to show up early and will do my very best to accommodate these little people), so please contact me as soon as you are ready for beautiful and unique custom portraits. Once your session is booked, we’ll discuss location, clothing, and the overall feel of the session. You’ll receive a digital information packet with tips to prepare and a full price schedule.
How things work:
To Reserve your date…
All clients pay the creative fee (see below) to commission Nicole for their portraits and book their session date. This fee is non-refundable though can be transferred to another date with appropriate notice. Your session cannot be booked and your date cannot be held without this payment.
The creative fee…
Regular Sessions | $200
~ Newborn: Focus on the newborn (less than 10 days old) & a few interactions with mom, dad, and siblings
~ Just the Kids: Focus on an individual child or up to 4 siblings from the same immediate family
~ Teen: Focus on the teen; usually 2+ locations and unlimited outfits
~ Family: Up to 6 members of the same immediate family
Watch Me Grow Baby Plan | $625
~ This baby plan gets you into our two year long portrait special. Starting at your newborn session we will capture your child every few months until 2 years of age (newborn, 6 months, one year, 18 months, two years). Every session during your plan is $75 off. We only take a limited number of members so it’s best to book sooner rather than later! There is a small $300 minimum order for each of your plan sessions. *please note that to take advantage of this plan you must sign up and pre-purchase all 5 sessions*
Digital Mini Sessions | $600
~ 30 minute session
~ Up to 4 people (suitable for just the kids, family, and teen sessions, babies must be 3+ months old) *$25 for each additional person
~ 10 portraits in High Resolution on an archival DVD disc
~ One 8×10″ print
~ Two 5×7″ prints
~ Private online gallery (with a 20% discount on purchases during initial gallery activation period)
Your creative fee includes Nicole’s time and talent for one to three hours, a custom styled on-location shoot at your home or alternate location, touchups and attention to each individual image, and 30+ final portraits presented in a private online gallery.
The creative fee does not include your images, either digital or printed; these are purchased separately (with the exception of Digital Mini Sessions). You can choose to purchase your portraits from the a la carte prices or select from one of our popular collections, which begin at $650.00.
A La Carte Portraits…
Prices begin at $60 for an 8×10 and $95 for an 11×14. All prints are UV coated for added protection. Various options for prints, packages, high resolution files, storyboards, gallery wraps, dvd slideshows, albums and birth announcements are available. Please contact me for a full price list.
Viewing Your Proofs…
Within 1.5 to 2 weeks of your photo shoot, you will be able to view up to 25-30 proofs from your session. You can order right through my online ordering system. Take your time, and make your selections in the privacy of your home as well as share them with all of your friends and family.
You will have access to your gallery for five days once it is posted to place orders. I will contact you when your gallery is ready to be posted and you let me know when you are ready for it to go up. Clients placing an order will have their files archived for one year.
Minimum Orders and Investment
I do not currently have a minimum order amount on regular sessions. I do offer digital negatives with my top packages where you will also receive a variety of high quality products, like our beautifully handcrafted designer albums, canvas prints, and more. I want to provide you with exactly what you want for your home.
Referrals…
I love referrals! Refer your friends and family to Bittersweet Photography and if they book a session you receive a $60 credit for future sessions, best of all there’s no limit to how many referrals or credits you can receive!
